Anyone with a passion for woodworking and helping children can become a member of the Blocks of Joy Foundation.  There are various levels of membership which are described here…

Yes you can.  This is a benefit of making toys as a member.  You can make a toy (using your own funds) and then donate the toy to the Foundation for the fair market value of the toy. 

Yes you can.  As a member of the Blocks of Joy Foundation you can make donations to other charitable organizations, or directly to a child who is in need of the gift.  It MUST be a wooden toy, game, furniture, etc. And must be given to a child in need, an organization which supports children in some way, or an organization who may need to entertain children while they have to wait, as long as we are making a child's life a little better.

Blocks of Joy Foundation has a headquarters in Peoria Arizona, but anyone in the U.S can become a member and make a difference in their own local community.  Blocks of joy is committed to helping children everywhere, not just in Arizona.  As a member, you can donate your creations to charitable organizations, or children in need within your own neighborhood.

YES.  Blocks of Joy is recognized as a non-profit foundation under IRS tax code section 501(c)(3).  A copy of our letter is located here…
